MXit was again judged the coolest website and social networking service facility in this year’s Sunday Times Generation NeXt survey, conducted by HDI Youth Marketeers in partnership with the Sunday Times, and supported by Monash South Africa. On 28 June, Google paved the way for professional news organisations to share their video content online in order to build bigger audiences for their video content. Microsoft is officially launching a new search engine (also dubbed a ‘decision engine‘) to the public that some believe has the potential to topple Google as a prime search engine.
